为了研究桉油精的抗菌抗炎作用,本文选取37株奶牛子宫内膜炎临床分离株,采用二倍稀释法测定其最小抑菌浓度(MIC)及最低杀菌浓度(MBC),同时分别设计小鼠耳肿胀和腹腔毛细血管通透性增加2种炎症模型研究其抗炎活性。结果显示,桉油精对7种细菌均有抗菌作用,其MIC为3.9~12.4 mg/mL,MBC为6.0~18.2 mg/mL;桉油精能够显著抑制小鼠耳肿胀及腹腔毛细血管通透性增加,并且给药剂量为400 mg/kg时效果最佳。研究表明:桉油精对奶牛子宫内膜炎致病菌具有良好的抗菌作用和显著的抗炎效果。 |

Antibacterial and Antiinflammatory Effects of Eucalyptol |

Abstract: |
To study the antibacterial and antiinflammatory effects of eucalyptol, totally 37 strains isolated from bovine with endometritis were used to determine the minimal inhibitory concentration (MIC) and minimal bactericidal concentration (MBC) by double broth dilution method. To investigate the antiinflammatory effects of eucalyptol, two inflammation models including xylene-induced ear edema and acetic acid-induced peritoneal capillary permeability addition in mice were designed, respectively. The results indicated that eucalyptol had antibacterial actions on 7 kinds of isolations, the MIC and MBC were 3.9~12.4 mg/mL and 6.0~18.2 mg/mL, respectively. Moreover, eucalyptol could significantly inhibit ear edema and capillary permeability increase in mice, and 400 mg/kg was considered to be the best administration dosage. In conclusion, eucalyptol has both antiinflammatory effect and antibacterial activities against bacteria isolated from dairy cows with endometritis. |
