| Recent development of Metabonomics and its Application in Drug Safety Evaluation |

| As an essential component of systems biology, metabonomics has been widely used in drug research. In this paper, the concept, recent development of analytical and statistical techniques used in metabonomics is summarized. Major applications of metabonomics to drug toxicity and metabolism study are then reviewed. Furthermore, the applications in veterinary drug veterinary drug's safety assessment are discussed. |
